What are Listener(s) for Managing HttpSession Objects?
A listener is an object that's called when a specified event occurs. From Sun's Java Servlet 2.3 specification, there are four listener interfaces that allow you to monitor changes to sessions and the objects that are in those sessions:
- HttpSessionListener
- HttpSessionBindingListener
- HttpSessionAttributeListener
- HttpSessionActivationListener
